First, our ChemTec Family wishes you and your loved ones a safe and secure haven during these extraordinary times. Please know that keeping everyone healthy, safe and protected is our absolute first priority.
We have made a promise to protect our community. Our Customer Care staff is working from home and our Quality Pro Technicians remain in the field. Our industry has been deemed Essential so that we can continue our important work to protect public health, food and property (see the Department of Homeland Security CISA document regarding Essential Service Providers). Our critical services extend to homes and businesses as well as major commercial operations such as food warehousing and processing facilities, laboratories and pharmaceutical operations, schools and more.
Know that pest activity will not stop during this time so neither will we. Less human presence and movement allows free and undisturbed pest activity. Structures left unchecked result in unhindered pest reproduction and overrun. As unprecedented as it may be, in a time like this our work is even more critical. For the majority of our residential customers, outside-only service is and always has been the standard. With warm weather on its way, our outside material toolbox effectively stops pests from entering your home.
Where inside service is critical, we believe we can continue to serve our customers by continuing to be diligent in following (and in some cases exceeding) CDC Guidelines. Our current safety protocols include Mandatory PPE (disposable gloves, shoe covers, respirator masks), meticulous hygiene, diligent reapplication of disinfectant and viricide to our tools and vehicles, mandatory customer qualification, total non-contact and mandatory social distancing, and regular health checks by all of our employees not working from home. We know that the wellbeing of your family and comfort of your home is more important now than ever. We do not take our responsibility to our customers, their clients and families as well as our employees and their families lightly. We will continue to monitor CDC recommendations and adjust our protocols as needed.
