New Jersey Cockroaches Can Make You Sneeze

You’re sneezing, wheezing, and coughing. Your eyes are watery, red and itchy. It’s springtime of course, and allergies are abundant. Most people don’t know that the outdoor tree, grass, and flower pollens are not the only culprits that cause allergies in humans.
Not many people think of cockroaches when they think of allergy triggers, but cockroach allergen is a major source of indoor allergies and may lead to asthma. The cockroach allergen comes from the bodies of the bugs, feces it leaves behind and their saliva. People react to the allergens just like they do to dust mite allergens.
Cockroaches are very resilient bugs and are difficult to get rid of once you have an infestation. It is estimated that over 75% of urban homes are infested with cockroaches in the United States. Each infested home may have between 800 to 300,000 cockroaches living in the walls, cracks, crevices, cabinets and any other dark spot you can think of in your home or business. To further increase the yuck factor, experts agree that if you see one roach, you can safely assume that you have at least 800 roaches that are hiding in other locations in your home.
Many consumers try ridding their home of cockroaches by using bug bombs. Unfortunately, these products don’t get to the root of the roach trouble and more often than not cause additional allergy irritation for allergy sufferers.
If you have cockroaches in your New Jersey home or business, it is highly recommended that you seek help from a New Jersey exterminator to rid your life of roaches once and for all.
